The Round House
was built in 1975 by Ralph C. Neuenschwander for use by his family for the express purpose of summer vacationing. It still continues to be used in that way.
The Round House is a multi-sided polygon structure wrapped in natural mountain stone featuring a wonderful stone fireplace in the "great room" and a wraparound deck for grilling out or just relaxing.
The Round House is nestled into a hillside with wooded embankments around the house. It is located ¼ mile off the main roadway in a tranquil wooded setting. The house is accessible by crossing a charming bridge over a stream and following the paved drive up to the house.
The Round House is fully equipped with linens, cooking and eating utensils and laundry supplies.
